Almoner's Fund

What happens when I give money to the “Almoner’s Fund”? Money given here is used for short-term help for our members in need, usually in the form of food certificates. Also each month the Almoner’s Fund makes regular financial gifts to Northside Lutheran Ministries, Southside Lutheran Ministries, St. Marcus Food Pantries, WELS Committee on Relief and Good Samaritan Outreach. Four of these organizations help people in our greater Milwaukee community who find themselves in financial need. The WELS Committee on Relief sends financial aid to the areas of the country or world which have experienced disasters in the hope of getting a chance to share the Gospel.
